Jack sat down next to Molly and the couch after handing John his mug of tea. “OH, its actually quite simple. Amy, the red headed girl the lives in this building, is a friend of a friend. I was looking for a place to stay, so I got in touch with her because I thought she might know somewhere. She told me to talk to John, and I moved in the next night.” He gestured with his hands as he talked and then smiled at Molly, leaning back into the sofa after his sentence. “Where do you live Molly? Is it near by?”
(( OOC; I will just answer the next one))
(OOC: GAH! Sorry it’s been so long! Real life started to happen.)
"It’s not far" Molly responded. "About five minutes by cab. And I’ve met Amy a couple of times. She’s lovely." Molly glanced over at John who was sipping his tea. "John, where exactly are you now? I heard that you and Sherlock have a flat, but where is it?"
Molly sat on the sofa in 221b, continuing her discussion with John. “It was lovely”, she gushed, “there was a palace and everything. Really beautiful.” Jack entered with two mugs of tea, Molly took hers and thanked him politely. There was a slightly awkward pause. Wanting to end it, Molly turned to Jack. “So Jack, how did you end up in 221b? It’s all a bit confusing to me.”
OOC: GAH! It won’t let me reblog you Jack! Which explains why I keep starting new posts. Yeah.
Molly turned around to find John smiling up at her and Jack from the bottom of the stairs. She inwardly thanked him for stopping her from making an even bigger fool of herself than she was at the present moment. “My trip was lovely John, thank you for asking.” she replied. “And tea sounds lovely Jack,” she continued, making her way into the flat. “I would love to meet you too.”
"Oh… Er… Hello" Molly dithered, inwardly cursing herself for not being able to act like a sentient being whenever handsome men were around. "Is John here?" The man kindly informed her that he was at his old flat. She barely heard him. "Oh well I tried there and he wasn’t home. He has my cat. Kitten. He’s a kitten. Nesbit. Orange tabby. I’ve only had him for a few weeks." Molly really wished she could shut up, but her mouth seemed to have a mind of its own. "He’s really quite cute. I suppose most kittens are, but I personally think he’s even more adorable than normal. I’m probably a bit biased though. I was on holiday. Just a week. John has him." The man simply smiled his dazzling smile, causing her to dither more. "Well thank you for the help, er, or information" she giggled nervously. Just as she was about to leave she turned around swiftly, blurting out "I’m Molly by the way!"
Molly got out of the cab and made her way up the street to 221b. She had tried John’s old flat, but found it empty. Jumping to the conclusion that he must be back in 221b, she had hailed a cab and headed there. She was excited to have Nesbit back, and she did hope everything went all right. Part of her wanted this short stay to convince John to get a pet. He looked like he could use a companion. Not that he didn’t have friends, but it often seemed that a dog or cat would be more manageable than Sherlock. Molly truly liked John. He was a genuinely nice person. She hoped that he was feeling better, he seemed a bit under the weather the last time they spoke. Finishing her climb up the stairs, she raised a hand to knock on the door marked 221b…
Which was answered by a stranger. A rather handsome stranger…
Molly knocked on the door of 221b and was greeted by a smiling, if not rather frazzled looking, John Watson. Making her way into the flat ( which was surprisingly clean), she set down the carrier that held Nesbit and the bag of his necessities. Molly thanked John for what must have been the tenth time and gave him instructions: Feed once a day, clean his litter box, and, most importantly, do not let him out of the flat. Feeling satisfied, Molly said her goodbyes and left. She really did hope John was alright. He looked very tired.
I’m not very good at keeping a blog, am I? Anyways, all is well. Getting ready for my trip! Packing can be so difficult. Nesbit is doing fine, and so am I. That’s about it for now. I’ll keep you posted! (Whoever you are)
I’ve spent a lot of time cooped up in my flat, so it was decided that I needed to get out this weekend. Nothing spectacular, just dinner with friends. It was nice. I’ve also started a new book. At the present moment, all is well.
